- Acca
- Short for accumulator; a single bet that combines two or more selections, with all parts needing to win for a payout.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting type where one team gets a goal advantage or deficit to eliminate the draw option.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside specifically for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A feature allowing you to combine multiple outcomes from the same match into one custom wager.
- Both Teams To Score
- A market where you bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- The option to settle your bet before the match ends, locking in a profit or limiting losses based on current odds.
- Double Chance
- A bet covering two of the three possible match outcomes—home win or draw, away win or draw, or either team winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you pick a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded.
- Each Way
- A two-part bet splitting your stake between a win selection and a place finish, common in outright markets.
- Fold
- The number of selections included in an accumulator bet; a five-fold has five legs.
- Handicap
- An advantage or disadvantage applied to a team to balance the odds, expressed as a positive or negative goal margin.
- In-Play
- Bets placed after a match has started, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or cut that bookmakers build into odds, also called vig or overround.
- Odds Movement
- Changes to betting odds over time, often reflecting where most bettors are placing money or new team information.
- Outright
- A long-term bet on a team or player to win a tournament, award, or league before it begins.
- Over/Under
- A bet predicting whether the total goals scored will be above or below a number set by the bookmaker.
- Parlay
- An American term for an accumulator; one bet linking multiple selections that all must win.
- Payout
- The total amount returned from a winning bet, including your original stake.
- Push
- When a bet lands exactly on the set line or total, resulting in all stakes being refunded.
- Stake
- The amount of money you wager on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
- A wager where the odds offered appear higher than the true probability, offering positive expected value over time.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is cancelled and refunded, usually due to a match being postponed or specific market rules applying.
- Win Both Halves
- A bet requiring your selected team to lead at both half-time and full-time in the same match.
- Winnings
- The profit earned from a successful bet, calculated as total payout minus your original stake.
